Closing the Digital Divide in the EU: The Promise of LEO Satellite Broadband

A 2025 study by Analysys Mason estimated up to 4.2 million people could be served by LEO satellite constellations by 2030, saving up to €26 billion in subsidies across seven EU countries when compared to the expected cost of installing fiber to the home (FTTH) broadband in these harder to reach areas.
